How is Valentine’s Day perceived?
Valentine’s Day is a day that is very loved or despised. Maybe it has to do with the lack of a romantic partner in one’s life.
Debb’s View of Valentine’s Day
Where do I fall on the love or despise scale? I love Valentine’s Day. When I doodle, it is either flowers or hearts. As a child, red was my first favorite color. I enjoy watching Hallmark movies, and the majority of fiction I read is romance. Yes–I’m a sucker for happy endings.
What am I Working On?
The novel I am writing, my first fiction book, is a romance.
Creative Ways to Look at Valentine’s Day:
You are loveable.
You are worthy of love.
If you don’t have a partner right now, there is nothing wrong with you.
Today is a perfect day to think about the people in your life you love and say a prayer of gratitude about them.
Today is a perfect day to think about why your favorite things are indeed your favorite things.
Thank You
