This first book of the True North series was a nice change in the romance genre. As the daughter of a fruit farmer, even I learned a lot more about apples and cider. It was nice reading what the heroine cooked for the family who loved her like their own. It was fun watching the romance develop, and there were parts where I was scared that the two would break up. Good suspense and a wonderful ending. I’ll be tuning in to the rest of the series.
