I take an express bus to work in Downtown St. Paul, MN, and despite having a very slow bus ride home tonight, I’m still glad I take the bus. Driving in this mess would be even worse! However, when I was clearing my car at the park and ride lot tonight, I brushed at least eight inches of snow from my car, then I brushed the snow drifts in front of my car away from the wheels so I could leave said lot. I actually made it thanks to someone who gave my car a push.On January 23rd, I found I am lucky to still have my own teeth after I fell in the aisle of my bus when a car cut right in front of us and turned right. The idiot! The bruises on my back only disappeared a couple of days ago. So you see, what I’m trying to tell you is: I think of my readers every day and am thankful for all of you, but I’ve been remiss in posting here. It’s got to get better, right? I am currently merging two drafts of my novel together so I can get it to my editor. For this blog, I’m thinking of posting a series about how I put a book together–once my book is finished and in the hands of my editor. Is that something you would be interested in reading? Be sure to leave a note in the comments–thanks! Lastly, welcome to all the new readers–pleased to meet you, and I hope this will be a long-term friendship. Until next time, I wish you plenty of warmth and a cheerful outlook. Photo by Alice Donovan Rouse on Unsplash
